Event Design Workshop at ORNG Ink, an after school arts studio in Orange NJ. 2010

Teaching art-making and storytelling have always been an important part of my work. For as long as I have created professionally, I have explored ways to engage younger generations through workshops, in-school residencies, and after-school programs.

Throughout my career I have remained a kid at heart and I dedicate my daily creative endeavors to exploring life around me with fresh, child-like eyes. My long-term goal is to establish my voice within the larger world of children's literature and then use that platform to affect positive change in the lives of young people.

If you are interested in inviting me to your school, library, church or community center, please contact me at studio@mikemalbrough.com
